We Muslims must act as agents of positive change for the people and environment around us. Participate in the community by volunteering, interning, sharing ideas, or simply smiling! Every individual will be rewarded according to their intentions and their work’s perfection: “And whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom, shall see its reward…” (Quran 99:7).

The Azad Masjid was established in 1996 by Abdullah Shamsid-Deen, his wife, and a few Muslim students and families in Wichita Falls, intending initially to secure an adequate place to pray together as a community. Little did this group of pioneers realize that they were actually laying the profound foundation for the largest and most diverse Muslim community of Wichita Falls.
